I started working at the bank, in the call centre, relatively early, i.e., right after my 1st year at university, where I studied quality management. I graduated with excellent grades. If I start doing something, I put my all into it. I like to wrap things up with a sense of accomplishment. In the process of exciting work, I always discover something new and useful for myself, which is why it is worth doing my utmost.
Working in a bank was my first serious job and I have been fortunate to continue my career in the Private Banking department.
In parallel with my work, I also completed my master’s studies in financial economics Finance has always been a passion for me, so I approached my studies with enthusiasm. As a result, I got the best grades and graduated with honours.
Whatever comes…
Only by reading the book from cover to cover, it is possible to say whether or not it was worth doing. The same is with a job – you have to try; you have to give it a chance. I think this perseverance was also appreciated by the head of Private Banking and therefore, she invited me to become a Private Banking administrator. Working in this department was an opportunity to try something completely new and I accepted the offer with great pleasure. I enjoyed my job, and it allowed me to express myself creatively, however, the desire to build a long‑term professional relationship with customers prompted me to apply for the position of customer affairs manager.
By nature, I am determined and curious – I desire to discover more and more new horizons, explore new things and study. In addition, after many years at the bank, I am aware that no matter what challenges need to be overcome, no matter what issues come up, I can now understand the situation and find the best solution. The support of the team and colleagues has always helped in my daily work. They are both wonderful professionals and good support. As a team, we can accomplish anything.
Perpetuum mobile
To be able to work productively, it is very important to find a balance between work and leisure. If the rest is full‑fledged, it will be possible to be more creative during work and, if necessary, to do more. I like to spend my free time with my family and friends, visit a gym and go on trips and hikes. Currently, I am taking my first steps in roller skating, and in winter – in cross‑country skiing. It is a good and interesting way to overcome yourself. I also have an eternal desire to study – I really like it! Last year, I studied advanced English at the Riga Business School. I upgraded my investment license level as well. Usually, my free time is quite full.
If I look at the future, I see it in the field of finance. This is the sector in which I am happy to continue working and aim to continue to perfect myself.
