Brand Finance names Nordea as the strongest brand in the Nordic Countries

In its annual ranking of 500 world banks, the brand valuation consultancy Brand Finance puts Nordea in the number one position among the strongest brands in the Nordic Countries. In the global league, Nordea has climbed two places to number 32 compared to last year.
Brand Finance is a brand valuation consultancy that uses an internationally recognised brand valuation method to create its own brand ranking. This method is used to value brands of banks, tax authorities, courts, companies, etc. around the world by estimating the value of a brand and comparing the brand to other leading brands in the same business sector.
Nordea's brand is valuated at USD 7.4 billion and it holds number one position in the ranking of 2013 among other Nordic banks with rating AAA-.
