International financial magazine "The Banker” named Nordea the best Private Banking provider in the Nordic countries as well as in both Finland and Norway. This is the second time that Nordea Bank has received this prestigious award.

“Under current conditions of intense competition, our main aim is to earn the trust of our customers, and I am proud that our effort has been recognised, which is proved both by the growing number of new customers and this international recognition," says Snorre Storset, Head of Nordea Private Banking in the Nordic countries. “This award is primarily recognition for the staff of Private Banking, and once again it proves that our international cooperation and experience sharing throughout Nordea have been a success and help in our consistent efforts to improve our banking services and customer service.”

Nordea Private Banking is ranked among Europe’s TOP20 and is the largest Private Banking provider in Northern Europe. Nordea Private Banking has offices in 12 countries and provides banking services to more than 115 000 customers in the Nordic countries, Baltics and all over Europe, managing assets that amount to more than EUR 90 billion.

Since 2008, Nordic Private Banking is also available in Latvia and this is its sixth consecutive award as the best Private Banking provider in the Nordic countries and Baltic region.

About the award

Every year the international financial magazine “The Banker” and magazine PWM (Professional Wealth Management)—both belonging to the “Financial Times” corporation group—summarise and announce international awards in Private Banking. A commission composed of fifteen globally recognised professionals in banking assess the prizes and decide the winners.
