From now on, Nordea customers will also be able to carry out financial transactions on their iPad devices. The new iPad version of the bank's mobile application will provide customers easy access to all Nordea Netbank services as well as contact with the bank 24/7.

Jānis Dirveiks, Head of Nordea Mobile Solutions Development in Latvia: "A mobile app as a service is becoming increasingly popular among customers of the bank. So, for example, last year the number of mobile app users increased by 83%, whereas the customer survey performed by Nordea at the end of last year shows that more than half of all Nordea customers are using tablets. Considering the rapid growth of the number of Nordea mobile app users, Nordea is offering its customers a new iPad version of the mobile app that offers more options and improvements in using the mobile app."

It is interesting to note that the largest growth in tablet usage can be observed in families, so the iPad version of the mobile app offers another useful feature that allows users to save several profiles for faster access to the Netbank. Users can also personalize their profiles by adding a user name and a profile picture. The new iPad app will enable customers to view a map of Nordea ATMs, use arithmetic, currency, loan and savings calculators, as well as  follow changes in stock prices. The new app will provide a single point of contact for rapid communication with the Nordea Contact Centre and via other Nordea social media channels, such as Twitter, Youtube and Flickr.
