The bank DNB warns against using the Internet Explorer browser

Taking into account the security problems detected in the Microsoft Internet Explorer browser the Association of Commercial Banks of Latvia and its member banks, including AS DNB banka warn the customer against using of Internet Explorer until elimination of the problems and recommend to opt for other browsers instead:
The European Network and Information Security Agency (ENISA) classify the threat as crucial. According to Microsoft, the vulnerability allows for a remote code performance by routing the user to a prearranged site or link, the visiting of which may give the perpetrators the control over the user’s computer. To the users who want to avoid the threat is recommended the use of other browsers until the manufacturer eliminates the detected vulnerabilities of Internet Explorer.
