We inform that on 2 December 2015 the amendments to DNB banka’s Remote Access Tools Usage Rules will enter into effect.

The major changes in the Rules are related to the introduction of a new, secure and convenient authentication tool in DNB banka’s mobile application. In this connection new definitions “Mobile Application” and “Mobile Application PIN Code” have been introduced in the Remote Access Tools Usage Rules, as well as stipulated that if DNB Internet Bank is used via DNB banka’s Mobile Application the PIN code generated by the user and the mobile device registered with DNB Internet Bank (for example, a smartphone or a tablet PC) may be used as the user’s identification means.

The amendments to the Rules also provide that in future DNB Internet Bank’s users who have access to accounts and services of other DNB banka’s customers will be able to do it with the identification means, on the use of which such users have agreed with DNB banka. The customer that has authorized a DNB Internet Bank’s user to access its accounts and services may restrict the user’s right to use for this purpose any identification means, upon a separate agreement with DNB banka and having determined that only the identification tool of a certain type (for example, a certain code calculator) may be used for the identification of the user.

The Rules have been supplemented by the provision that in cases the customer has not individually agreed with DNB banka on DNB Internet Bank’s use limits (for example, on a certain daily and payment limit) the limits set by DNB banka will apply.

Should you disagree with the amendments to the Rules mentioned above, you are entitled, in conformity with DNB banka’s General Transacting Rules, before these amendments enter into effect to unilaterally refuse from the existing remote access tools usage agreement, upon a written notice to DNB banka and having performed all obligations arising from the agreement. If until the effective date of these amendments DNB banka does not receive a written notice from you, it will be treated as you have agreed to these amendments.
