DNB banka asks customers not to disclose internet bank ID data in order to ensure security of their financial data

DNB banka has been informed that several customers wishing to join the Internet banking system have been asked to enter several Internet banking codes.
DNB banka wishes to inform customers very strongly about the fact that the DNB banka never sends out e-mails and never ever posts special windows on the Internet banking page or any other homepage asking clients to enter their payment card number, term of use, PIN code, or any other data related to Internet banking – the user code, password, or codes from the code card or code calculator.
Should you receive such an e-mail or see such a window on a homepage, ignore it! Please inform the bank of these requests for ID data by ringing +371 67 17 1880 or writing to info@dnb.lv.
