DNB banka systems successfully transferred to euro; Internet banking operations restored

On the night of December 31, 2013, DNB banka successfully completed a year of work, and we are proud to announce that our systems have been transferred to the euro currency.  DNB Internet banking operations have been restored, and savings and loans in client accounts have been converted to euros.  All DNB banking systems are fully operational and available to clients at this time.

The head of the DNB banka’s euro project, Gatis Šetlers:  “More than 100 of our colleagues worked on the euro project all year long, and preparations in this regard demanded much time and were quite complicated.  For that reason, we are more than ready to welcome the fact that this major project has now been concluded, DNB banka has transferred to the euro in accordance with plans, and we have been able to ensure a simple and smooth transfer to the new Latvian currency – the euro!”
