From Dec 4, Luminor starts routing incoming cross-border payments to ex DNB accounts in Latvia and Lithuania through new correspondent banks and completes the creation of its independent correspondent banking network.

The change in correspondent banks also changes Luminor payment requisites for international payments. Customers are urged to notify their business partners and other relevant persons of the changes at the first possibility to avoid any delays in their incoming payments.

Luminor started to route USD payments via Citi bank from the beginning of October. This week, new routings were introduced through Nostro accounts with Luminor Estonia via UniCredit and Citi bank and via direct correspondent accounts with Commerzbank, PKO Bank, Bank Pekao and Nordea regarding 11 other currencies. This means that Luminor has finalised the establishment of its own independent correspondent banking network for a total of 14 currencies.

In Latvia, customers making payments in the LuminorIDNB internet bank have been already informed of changes in payment requisites for 12 currencies (AUD, CAD, CHF, CZK, DKK, EUR, HUF, JPY, PLN, SEK, RUB, USD).
