DNB banka on this year’s 21st of June has signed the loan agreement with Ventspils Free Port Authority. The loan amount tallies up to EUR 4.86 million and the funds are assigned for funding of the investment program of Ventspils Free Port Authority ‘Dismantling of the 1st pier of the Free Port of Ventspils’.

Dismantling of pier in the port of Ventspils will give an opportunity to the adjacent coal terminal to use its berth more efficiently, thus facilitating increased cargo turnover through the port of Ventspils.

The financer of Ventspils Free Port Authority investment project was selected as the result of an open tender. In competition with five other banks the best proposal was submitted by the bank DNB.
