For the second consecutive year clients - both private and corporate – of Latvian commercial banks have given DNB Bank the highest rating thus maintaining it at the top in the important categories of customer satisfaction and loyalty, which were analysed within the study “Baltic Banking 2012” by independent researcher “EPSI Rating”.

In Latvia this year again DNB Bank has received the highest rating (75.8) in the legal persons segment which consists of large and small and medium businesses. Furthermore legal persons are even more satisfied with DNB products and services this year than they were last year when the “EPSI rating” study showed a rating of 74.1.

DNB Bank has also maintained its leading position and received the highest amount of points (79.4) in the area of private banking services. This rating is 3 points higher than that of last year, thus ensuring that in terms of how inhabitants assess the services and products offered by commercial banks, DNB is still a step ahead of its competitors.

DNB Bank can boast with having the most loyal clients among commercial banks in Latvia. And client loyalty to the bank has only increased: in 2011 private customer loyalty was rated with 81.3 points, whereas this year it is 82.3. In turn, legal client loyalty in 2011 was rated with 78.4 points, but in 2012 it is 81 points.

The bank’s continuous work to raise the level of service and to improve the range of financial products and services offered has received the highest rating. “EPSI Rating” is an international independent research company present in almost 20 countries in Europe with national (sub-regional) organisations in the Czech Republic, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, Greece, Latvia, Lithuania, Norway, Russia, Sweden, Ukraine etc.

The “EPSI Rating” study “Baltic Banking 2012” was carried out in all three Baltic States interviewing over 5000 respondents. The maximum amount of point that can be issued to the criteria set out in the study is 100.
