Important information to the users of PayPal electronic payment system

According to the information received by the bank DNB, there might be expected failures in PayPal electronic payment system: are registered several occurrences, where the system failed to automatically exchange the lats into euro. As the result, the customers encounter certain problems in getting refunds from the PayPal system to the customer’s registered payment card with the bank.
PayPal reports that the system operation will be fully resumed as from 28 February 2014. We kindly ask the customers to make transactions with PayPal after 28 February, when automated exchange of EUR transactions from the lats into euro will be in place.
In urgent situations, please do not hesitate to contact the PayPal technical support service to conduct manual conversion of the lats into euro. Also, the communication may be conducted through the PayPal website.
