On 10 November 2015 from 12:30 till 18:00 at the National Library of Latvia (3 Mūkusalas Street, Riga) the second Nordic Baltic Business Forum will take place bringing together important Nordic and Baltic entrepreneurs, economists and representatives of the public and private sectors. The main topic at this year’s forum will be innovation driven competitiveness and growth.
The forum is organised by the Chambers of Commerce of Norway, Sweden, Finland and Denmark with the support of the Norwegian, Swedish, Finnish and Danish Embassies in Latvia, Nordic Council of Minister´s Office, DNB Bank, Stockholm School of Economics in Riga and HD FestForest.
The forum aims to share best practice and facilitate future cooperation. Speakers at the forum will include Dana Reizniece-Ozola, Minister of Economics of Latvia, Hans Brask, Ambassador of Denmark to Latvia and former Director of the Baltic Development Forum, Louise Fredbo-Nielsen, Trend researcher at Future Navigator, Svante Liljevall, Chief Operating Officer at Evolution Gaming, Jekaterina Rojaka, Chief Economist at DNB Markets, Olli Vuola, Executive Director at Aalto University Entrepreneurship Program, Oskars Priede, Managing Director at Green Industry Innovation Centre and Anita Krohn Traaseth, Author and Managing Director at Innovation Norway well as other business experts.

The focus of this year will be moving forward: innovation driven competitiveness and growth. The participants will share experiences on such topics as future consumers and market trends, innovation strategies, sustainable business development and change management.
Furthermore, the Forum will also touch upon such topics as Latvian business relations to the Nordic countries, future development prospects, as well as best practices in Nordic-Baltic cooperation. The Business Forum will be moderated by internationally renowned business expert Baiba Rubesa.
