In order to comply with the requirements of the Financial and Capital Market Commission and improve our services, we have introduced some amendments to AS DNB banka (hereinafter – DNB) rules and regulations.

Major amendments are as follows:

  • Modifications of Internet-bank code cards usage. Code cards will be equipped with an additional security feature, SMS code* that will be sent free of charge to your mobile phone number in case of remitting payments in amount above EUR 30 to another bank or executing Regular payment (Direct Debit) and/or entering into Regular invoice payment agreement. In order to make further payments through Internet-bank and receive SMS codes, you’ll be asked to confirm your mobile telephone number shortly (effective as of 01.04.2017);
  • If you are the code card user, to make online purchase by payment card (3D Secure payment) you will be asked to confirm the payment by a code received from the Bank through SMS (effective as of 01.04.2017);
  • In case of noticing an atypical Internet-bank transaction from your account (a new recipient and payment exceeds the set limit) we will hold up the execution for 2 hours to contact you and find out whether the respective payment is initiated by you. The payment will be executed immediately after confirmation. Should we fail to contact you or obtain confirmation, the payment will be executed in 2 hours (effective as of 01.04.2017);
  • The name of the company that technically secures regular invoice payment service has been changed (from «OpusCapita AS» to «Fitek AS») (effective as of 01.04.2017);
  • We have now provided the opportunity to make payments to DNB accounts, its subsidiaries and DNB cooperation partners (e.g. AAS «Balta») by using DNB Customer Service Centre in limited mode (effective as of  01.04.2017);
  • If you have a Savings account or Open term deposit, further on you will need an account in DNB to be eligible to apply for withdrawal from the Savings account or Open term deposit (effective as of 02.05.2017);
  • Further on, you will be eligible to apply for early termination of the Term deposit at any time - please see the fees in the Pricelist (effective as of 02.05.2017).

We are delighted to inform that we’ll be issuing DNB contactless payment cards. With a contactless card you’ll be able to make payments up to EUR 10 without entering your PIN code. Further on, all Visa Debit or Visa Classic cards will be renewed as contactless cards. Should you not want to use your new card for contactless payments, there is an opportunity to disable such option in DNB Internet-bank.

Based on the above, we have made amendments to the following terms and conditions that apply both to private individuals and corporate customers**:

  • Rules on Use of Remote Access Instruments;
  • Account Maintenance and Card Usage Rules;
  • Payment Rules;
  • Term Deposit Account Opening and Maintenance Rules.
