During the Professional Wealth Management Global Private Banking Awards 2014 ceremony held at the end of October, Nordea received an award as the Best Private Banking Service Provider in the Nordic Region, Finland and Norway.
This award was granted by The Banker, a financial edition of the internationally recognised Financial Times Group, and it is considered to be one of the most prestigious Private Banking events with over 170 applications received from 60 countries this year. In 2014, awards were granted for the first time in such categories as the Best Private Banking Service Provider in Finland and Norway, in which Nordea gained recognition.
Nordea is the largest bank in the Nordic Region offering Private Banking services for very wealthy customers. Nordea Private Banking has representative offices in 12 countries and serves more than 100,000 clients in the Nordic Region, the Baltic states and across Europe, managing assets worth some EUR 191 billion. Since 2008, Nordea Private Banking services have also been available in Latvia.
