Changes in Luminor’s General Service Rules and Privacy Policy starting from 2 January 2019

We continue with our transformations and taking next steps towards the unification of bank’s services, therefore, starting from 2 January 2019 there will be changes to Luminor’s general service rules and privacy policy.
Changes in general service rules
Changes in Luminor General Business Terms concerns sections on disclosure of Banking Secrecy and definitions regarding Sanctions. Some minor wording improvements are also made.
In addition, there are also changes to a few product terms and conditions:
Luminor is amending the General Terms and Conditions on Daily Banking Package (N) and General Terms and Conditions for Business Packages (N) by merging them and incorporating into Rules of Accounts
Luminor is amending General Terms and Conditions for Nordea Internetbank for Corporate Customers (N) by incorporating them into Rules of Remote Access Instruments.
Changes in bank’s legal structure, our aim to replace current shareholder’s financing with more self-sustainable funding in financial markets drives the need to update our Privacy policy as well.
Most important changes:
list of Luminor companies are updated considering changes in group’s legal structure;
new data processing purposes are explained – these are related to our goal to revise our funding structure;
categories of personal data recipients are further explained in more details explaining that in some cases we may have a legal requirement or legitimate interest to share personal data with our shareholders, rating agencies or participants of financial markets and entities involved in arranging of funding;
our actions involving processing of personal data in money laundering, terrorist financing prevention and implementation of international sanctions areas are further explained in more details.
