On website dealings with unlicensed interactive gambling and lottery operators 

From January 1st, 2020 the amendments to the Law on Payment Services and Electronic Money stipulating will come into effect.

Due to this the financial institutions are obliged to refuse payments to interactive gambling and lottery operators that are not duly licensed in Latvia as well as report to the State Revenue Service any such transactions refused to an individual.

In reference to the above amendments, as from 30.12.2019. Luminor shall refuse any payment card transactions with interactive gambling and lottery service providers that are not duly licensed in the Republic of Latvia as well as report such transactions to the State Revenue Service.
