From December 1, the travel insurance partner of Luminor will be insurance company Compensa.
Taking into account the experience of spring and the tendencies, we have taken care of an even better coverage for our customers and have added two more options to the insurance policy:
Domestic journey/trip
Travel insurance will now be in effect also for domestic trips, on a condition that the Customer travels in Latvia and spends at least one night in a hotel located further than 50km from the normal and/or declared place of residence.
The insurance includes accident insurance, treatment expenses, rental car insurance (only for Luminor Visa Infinite credit cards).
COVID‑19
If COVID‑19 illness is diagnosed while travelling, the insurer shall compensate all expenses incurred in the first 14 days of travelling in relation to provision of medical aid abroad, medical transport and rescue expenses, repatriation expenses in case of illness/death, if it is not provided by the respective country in accordance with recommendations of the World Health Organisation regarding help in case of infection with COVID‑19.
