Opening hours and processing of payments during the holidays

Please read the planned changes in working hours of Luminor customer service centres and payments on Christmas and New Year holidays.

Opening hours of Luminor Customer service centres

• 23.12. – working hours will be one hour shorter
• 24.12. līdz 27.12. – closed
• 30.12. – working hours will be one hour shorter
• 31.12. līdz 03.01. – closed

Making payments on holidays

Please pay attention to payment processing times when making transfers on holidays.
From December 24 to December 27 payments in Latvia and Europe will not be processed. All outgoing payments will be postponed and processed after the holidays. On Wednesday, December 23, payments will be processed as usual.

Internal payments

• During the holidays we will receive all payments within Luminor immediately or within one hour.

EUR payments

• We will transfer the EUR payments made on 23.12 before 16.00 on the same day. The payment orders received after 16.00 will be transferred to the beneficiary bank on December 24.
• We will transfer urgent domestic and European EUR payments made before 17.00 on the same day. The payment orders received after 17.00 will be transferred to the beneficiary bank on December 24.

Cross-border payments

• We will execute the express foreign exchange payments sent before 16.00 (payments with the same value date) on the same day. The payment orders sent after 16.00 will be forwared to the beneficiary bank (or correspondent bank) on December 28
• All outgoing and incoming SEPA payments of December 31 will be processed

On January 1, payments in Latvia and Europe will not be processed. All outgoing payments will be postponed and processed after the holidays.

The payments made on Wednesday, December 30, will be transferred to the beneficiary bank according to the following schedule:

Internal payments

• During the holidays we will receive all payments within Luminor immediately or within one hour.
• Non-SEPA payments made from December 31 to January 3 will appear in the account statement on the next working day (January 4).

On December 31, all outgoing and incoming SEPA payments will be processed.

EUR payments

• The EUR payments made before 16.00 will be transferred on the same day. The payment orders received after 16.00 will be transferred to the beneficiary bank on January 4. 

Cross-border payments

• We will execute the express foreign exchange payments sent before 16.00 (payments with the same value date) on the same day. The payment orders sent after 16.00 will be forwarded to the beneficiary bank (or correspondent bank) on January 4.
