Opening hours and processing of payments during the holidays

With regard to the upcoming Christmas holidays and the turn of the year, we ask you to consider the following changes in our bank offices’ opening hours.

Opening hours of Luminor bank offices

• 23.-26.12.2018 offices are closed
• 30.12.2018-01.01.2019 offices are closed

During the holiday season these bank offices will be opened:

Domina

• December 23, 10.00 – 16.00

Spice

• December 23, 10.00 – 19.00
• December 24, 10.00 – 19.00
• December 25, 10.00 – 19.00
• December 26, 10.00 – 19.00
• December 31, 10.00 – 19.00

Alfa

• December 23, 10.00 – 19.00
• December 24, 10.00 – 19.00
• December 25, 12.00 – 19.00
• December 26, 10.00 – 19.00
• December 31, 10.00 – 19.00

Processing of payments during the holidays

We would like to ask our customers to pay attention to payment acceptance cut-off times when making transfers during the holiday season.

From December 22 to 26,  no processing of payments will take place in Latvia or the rest of Europe. Processing of all outgoing payments will be postponed until after the holidays. On Friday, December 21, processing of payments will take place as usual.

Internal payments

• During the holiday season, all payments within Luminor will reach the recipient`s account immediately or within one hour at the latest.
• Transactions made from December 23 to 26 will be registered on the account statement with the next banking day (December 27).

Euro payments

• Euro payments made before 16:00 will be sent out on the same day. Payment orders entered after 16:00 will be transferred to the recipient bank on December 27.
• Urgent domestic and European EUR payments made before 17:00 will be sent out on the same day. Payment orders received after 17:00 will be forwarded to the recipient bank on December 27.

Cross-border payments

• Express payments made before 16:00 (same value date payments) will be sent out on the same day. Payment orders entered after 16:00 will be forwarded to the recipient bank (or correspondent bank) on December 27.
• When making RUB payments to Russia, please note that their national holidays last from 31 December to 8 January and no payments will be executed during that time.

On December 31, all incoming and outgoing SEPA payments will be processed.

On January 1, no processing of payments will take place in Latvia or elsewhere in Europe. The value dates of all outgoing payments will be postponed correspondingly.

Payments made on Friday, December 28 will be forwarded to the recipient bank according to the schedule as follows:

Internal transfers

• During the holiday season, all payments within Luminor will reach the recipient`s account immediately or within one hour at the latest.
• Non-SEPA payments made from December 30 through January 1 will appear on the account statement on the following business day (January 2).

On December 31, all incoming and outgoing SEPA payments will be processed.

Euro payments

• Euro payments made before 15:30 will be sent out on the same day. Payment orders entered after 16:00 will be forwarded to the recipient bank on January 02.

Cross-border payments

• Express foreign currency payments made before 16:00 (same value date payments) will be sent out on the same day. Payment orders entered after 16:00 will be forwarded to the recipient bank (or correspondent bank) on January 02.
• When making payments to Russia, please note that their national holidays last from December 31 – January 8 and no payments will be executed during that time
